Brian Carter Cellars, Oriana
ORIANA   (Latin for 'golden lady')
Uniquely Aromatic White Wine Blend
Oriana utilizes two grapes originally from the Rhone Valley of France. The core variety, Viognier, is  rich in aromas of peaches and apricots and Roussanne deepens the peach character and adds a hint of melons. Then blend is finished with Riesling to add a touch of pears and apple blossoms. This richly textured wine finishes with food friendly acidity.

Brian Carter Cellars, Tuttorosso
TUTTOROSSO  (Italian for 'all red')
Super-Tuscan Style Red Blend
Our Tuttorosso Super-Tuscan style blend salutes the maverick winemakers who broke with tradition to create a new category of wines from Tuscany with a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Close your eyes, put your nose to the glass - there is a hint of white truffles, wild ripe blackberries and dark chocolate. Take a sip snd open your eyes to Tuttorosso!

Brian Carter Cellars, Byzance
BYZANCE  (French for "luxurious")
Southern Rhone-Style Red Blend
Byzance is carefully crafted from the Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. Deep Garnet in color, the wine has complex aromas of dried cherries, rose petals, bay leaf, white pepper and clove. Balanced for food, and age-ability, the wine has dark fruit and spice flavors which linger on the palate.

Brian Carter Cellars, L'etalon
Le Cousier  (French for 'the steed') / L'Etalon
Bordeaux-Style Red Blend
This 'Right-Bank' style blend is carefully crafted using Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot.  Dark in color, the aroma is black fruit, cassis and cedar.  Mouth filling flavors and the exquisite balance of acid, tanin and fruit promise long term age-ability along with near term drinkability. This wine is especially well suited to rare and robust red meats.

Brian Carter Cellars, Solesce
SOLESCE  (Latin for 'sun and essence')
Bordeaux-Style Blend
Solesce is our flagship wine, meticulously crafted from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. The wine has complex aromas of blackberry, leather, toasted cedar and cassis with a long finish both supple and age-worthy. Already benefiting from three years in the bottle, the wine will continue to improve for another decade. Cheers!

Brian Carter Cellars, Abracadabra
ABRACADABRA
 A Magical Red Blend
This enchanted wine uses the same carefully selected vineyard sources and French and European oak barrels as the rest of the Brian Carter Cellars wines. The magical properties vary each year depending on Brian’s whim, making this the best value of our portfolio. Be careful, or you might fall under the spell of Abracadabra!

Brian Carter Cellars, Abracadabra
CORRIDA (Spanish for 'bullfight')
Spanish-style Red Blend (Exclusive to Wine Club members)
Modeled after the noble Tempranillo based blends of Spain, the wine also contains Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Granacha.  A beautiful dark garnet color greets you with aromas of blackberry, rose petals, cedar and spice.  Plenty of fruit flavors envelope the mouth along with soft tannins and a long juicy finish.

Brian Carter Cellars, Abracadabra
TRENTENAIRE (French for 'of thirty years')
Unique Bordeaux-style Blend (Exclusive to Wine Club members)
This blend features the biggest little grape in Bordeaux: Petit Verdot, it also contains Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Cabernet Franc.  Occasionally used in small quantities, Petit Verdot is almost never used as the core grape for blending, making this a bold statement of what Washington terroir is capable of producing.  Intensely dark in color, the wine opens to aromas of Boysenberry, plus hints of violets and cedar spice.  On the palate look for age-worthy tannins and plenty of stamina.
