The 2018 vintage is a richly aromatic wine, resplendent with tangerine, apricot,  ripe pear and apple with touches of honey and anise. Crisp acidity greets the palate while mouth filling fruit flavors linger making this an excellent companion to many foods, from crab cakes to shellfish to Asian cuisine.

Italian for "all red"

This Sangiovese-based Super Tuscan-style blend is always a hit with foodies. The warmer vintage of 2014 shows off generous aromatic elements and a classic Chianti-like finish. Wild blackberries with hints of white truffle.

Southern Rhone-Style blend inspired by the wines of Chateauneuf du Pape. This is a Grenache based wine with Syrah, Mourvedre, and smaller amounts of Counoise and Cinsault. A complex nose of ripe, red cherries, tar, white pepper and the garigue spice with a long finish of earthy minerals. Pair with a medium rare duck breast with cherry sauce.

Inaugural Edition Red Blend

I am very proud to introduce the Inaugural Edition of our Dedication Series of wines. Never wanting to stand still, I am offering up a new series of blended wines outside of the box (but still inside the bottle). Each wine will be unique in its blend and unique into whom it is dedicated. For our first of the series I have made a blend of two varieties less often blended in Europe but a blend rapidly becoming a Washington State Classic: Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

Solesce is our signature Bordeaux-style blend. Cabernet Sauvignon was used as the heart of this wine, using only selected lots from E & E Shaw and Stone Tree Vineyards, two of our top Cabernet vineyards. Additional lots of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec were carefully chosen for this blend from several more of Washington's finest vineyards.
