I am very proud to introduce the Inaugural Edition of our Dedication Series of wines. Never wanting to stand still, I am offering up a new series of blended wines outside of the box (but still inside the bottle). Each wine will be unique in its blend and unique into whom it is dedicated. For our first of the series I have made a blend of two varieties less often blended in Europe but a blend rapidly becoming a Washington State Classic: Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
Using five varietals permitted in the Bordeaux region of France, this “Right Bank,” Merlot-dominated wine is a winner with red meats. Notes of cassis (black currant), blackberry, fruit, and exotic spices
The floral aromatic qualities, combined with its inky hue and powerful structure, makes this limited production Petit Verdot-based Bordeaux-style blend truly special. Multi-layered with aromas of pie cherries, black raspberries, musk and cedar. Originally released to celebrate Brian's 30th year as a Washington winemaker it is now in it's 9th release. This wine captures Brian's spirit of winemaking: Make a difference, do it better, do it well.
