Dark in color, look for exotic aromas of anise, pomegranate, raspberries and turmeric. On the palate the wine has mouth-filling fruit and spice with ripe tannins and a long finish. Serve with grilled pork loin with unsweetened berry sauce such as raspberry.
The 2019 vintage is a richly aromatic wine, resplendent with tangerine, apricot, ripe pear and apple with touches of honey and anise. Crisp acidity greets the palate while mouth filling fruit flavors linger making this an excellent companion to many foods, from crab cakes to shellfish to Asian cuisine.
