Exploring Aromas in Wine

We are built to interpret aromas and flavors based on our history, origins, culture, and preferences. Bring some friends and develop your olfactory skills to gain a better understanding of why wines can smell like violets, cinnamon, leather, chocolate, lemongrass, and more. Instructor Reggie Daigneault will evaluate several wines with you, adding small bites along the way, which will help lay the foundations for the next class: Food & Wine Pairing!

Northwest Travel and Uniworld Cruises offer an all-inclusive Washington Winemaker cruise aboard a brand new, custom built vessel on Northern Portugal’s Douro River. Winemakers Brian Carter and Paul Beveridge will co-host this 7-night event in late May 2021.  

Uniworld utilizes one of the newest and most luxurious ships in the region for this sailing which begins in Porto, cruising upstream almost to the border of Spain, before returning seven nights later at its point of origin.
